Changed your mind?
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to let us know you'd like to return it, and a further 14 days to send it back to us. This applies to any item, for any reason — you don't need to explain yourself.
To start a return, email us at contact@elinelondon.com with your order number and which item you're sending back. We'll reply with the returns address and everything you need to know.
Condition of returned items
Bags must come back unused, with all tags, dust bags and packaging included, and in a condition that allows us to sell them again. Handling the bag as you would in a shop is absolutely fine — checking the size, the colour, how it sits on your shoulder. Signs of use beyond that (marks, scuffs, odours, missing hardware) may mean we reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
Your refund
Once your return reaches us and passes inspection, we'll refund you within 14 days to the original payment method. That includes the standard delivery charge you originally paid, if any. If you chose an upgraded delivery service, we refund the standard rate only.
Return postage is your responsibility unless the item arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect — in which case we cover it. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't refund a parcel that never arrives with us.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If something isn't right, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a couple of photos. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you're entitled to a full refund within that window. After 30 days, and for up to six months, we'll repair or replace the item; if that isn't possible, you'll receive a refund.
Non-returnable items
Personalised or monogrammed bags and gift cards cannot be returned unless they're faulty. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
Cancelling before dispatch
If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us as quickly as you can and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
